Authorship and Contributorship Criteria
Maqolat: Journal of Islamic Studies recognizes authorship based on substantial contributions to the conception, design, implementation, analysis, or interpretation of the research, as well as meaningful participation in the preparation and approval of the manuscript.
To be recognized as an author, an individual should meet all of the following criteria:

- Contribute to drafting the manuscript or critically revising it for important intellectual content.
- Approve the final version of the manuscript before publication.

Author Order and Corresponding Author
The authors should determine the order of authorship and identify the corresponding author before manuscript submission.

Their contributions may instead be recognized in the Acknowledgments section.
Maqolat: Journal of Islamic Studies does not permit guest authorship, honorary authorship, or ghost authorship. All individuals listed as authors are expected to have made genuine, substantial, and identifiable contributions to the research and published work.
